Thigh Guardz for catchers are worn on the outside of the uniform. Stretchy straps wrap around the leg and are attached to Velcro on the front of the Thigh Guardz holding them in place. To remove for batting or base running a quick grab of the pull cord and the Thigh Guardzs are released from the legs. Then its just a matter of unsnapping the belt and the Thigh Guardz are removed.

The half inch of ballistic protection is enough to protect against the worst shocks. Chasing foul balls or running down base runners, Thigh Guardz give the catcher the freedom to move fast. Light weight Thigh Guardz can be worn for hours protecting you through a full nine innings. The outer shell is made from nylon pack cloth creating a smooth surface which can be easily cleaned with soap and water.
Full Frontal Coverage
Wearing Thigh Guardz in addition to the regular catchers gear gives you almost full frontal protection. As you crouch into your ready position the waist attachment straps disappear into the fold of the leg and the chest protector comes down almost to the top of the Thigh Guardz. Now you are ready for even the worst ball strikes.
